Should I switch to an RPM 2?

A friend of mine is selling his new in box EdelBrock RPM 2 at a very good price.

Right now, I have a Typhoon on top of my stock 302 with Trick Flow TW heads & stage 1 cam. I think the Typhoon is a restriction right now since the ports on it are considerably smaller than the ports on the TW heads. I was just going to have Tmoss port my lower, when this deal fell on my lap.

Will it be worth it to swap intakes, or should I stick with what I got and have Tmoss work his magic? I have only seen the RPM 2 on top of stroked motors or very high revving 302s. I have no plans to do either anytime soon, maybe a cam swap. Let me know what you guys think.

I have the RPM II with stock cam right now =\ but will be upgrading to TFS Stage 1 cam shortly. However probably within the next year, i will be starting my turbo dart block build, in which case my RPM II will really start to shine...hopefully =D

But yes, it is quite the big intake.:flag:

Well if your not going to be going with a Stroker/power adder/high rev engine any time soon, there are probably better intakes for your application and goals.

I chose mine because i didn't want to buy two different intakes, and i didn't know about thumper and tmoss yet =\
