Shouldn't these rims be 6.42 backspacing if they have 36mm offset?...................

Hey guys. From my understanding.. 36mm offset on a 18x9 is 6.42 backspacing. Then whats up with this rim? American Muscle label it wrong?

18x9 with 36mm offset means 4.5 inches plus 1.42 inches (36mm offset) plus 0.5 inches for flange. 4.5 + 1.42 + 0.5 = 6.42... yeah, there may be a typo there. maybe the flange is only 0.25ish inches?
