ya im not used to issue after issure i have owned nothing but new stangs (05 07 and 08) but this car is by far my favorite body style and its a b***h to mess with ecpecially when i wanna drive this just dailly and build a motor on the side so i wasnt really planning on dumpin this much money into a motor that im not building any idea on if its the water pump or anything else i can be? radiator isnt leaking so its not that

Absolutley not... Water pumps do not have to squeal to be bad. Your balancer is most likely because the pump is pissing fluid from the weep holes on the pump. Which is a dead give away that it's bad. What was the timing @ when it was running bad @ wot? 4* base timing is way to low. Could be a fuel delivery problem... More info on the car/mods is needed.

There's a problem then if it was (det)ing on 11* timing. 10* is factory setting. Should be able to run 14-15 no problem! I'd say plugs or fuel problem.

Buy yourself a Haynes or chiltons manual. Water pumps are easy if you have any know how at all. Pull the vac line off the brake booster and let it pull 1/3 can.

Yeah, 4* of timing is DAMN low. go 13-14* on 93 octane. To remove the water pump, pull the mechanical fan off, along with the shroud. That should be all you need to remove it. (havent been under the hood of an actual fox in forever... Mine is set up differently.

Fan/fan clutch, and a accessory bracket or two along with the belt.

Sure sounds like a water pump. Needless to say, someone's in for a learning experience. Just a little something to remember. Just because someone has a lot of nice cars, or even is a good mechanic, it doesn't mean they are someone you want to buy a car from. When he said "get things flowing again" because it had been sitting, that is where I marked him as a complete idiot or he just thinks you are. The second you started that car, things were flowing again.

Just be careful on the pump bolts. They tend to snap. Use plenty of anti seize when you put them back in.
