My 89 coupe will be set up for spirited street and road track action and the stock LX seats are not going to cut the mustard. Show me your seats or a set of seats that you would recommend.

I dont' need a 5-point harness at this time. Would like something comfortable and stylish. Does not have a roll bar at this time. My coupe is black on black with a lttle carbon fiber thrown into the mix.

Thank for your time and help. SEMPER FI :salute:

These were in my vert. Suuuuper comfortable Jegs they retailed at 189 each. I got them from someone new out of the "back of a truck" for 100. for both. Wish I could find that deal again.

this may not be what you are looking for but just an idea, here are my seats, they are in my 84 f150 for now but will be in my 92 when it is ready for them. they are from a 2000 something rolled dodge neon sport and were FREE.

That's not bad at all. I wonder how they would look in a fox, and how comfortable they are. Be sure to share your experience with them when you get them in.

honestly hate those seats. friend has them in his camaro and theyre uncomfortable as hell. might just be how they lean like hell in that car. other than that theyre nice seats and seem to hold up well.

I agree tanner, my father has a set of those ebay racing seats in the garage and I just cant see myself using them, they just dont sit good in there, I think stock seats look so much more natural in there.

But I do think this is a good topic as I am also considering new seats. Anyone know of any drag racing seats that are comfortable, not just metal buckets? The mustang magazines always have good interior shots, I think I am gonna look through some of those.

Its all in what you want or like. They fit the car well and I had no problems with them. Granted you need to do a little custom fitting to use the original seat tracks but not bad. Much more comfortable than the originals IMHO. Here some other pics I had of them

From the outside with the top down...

I have Corbeau GTS II's with the inflatable lumbar support in my hatch. I love them they are a bit pricey though AM has them for 799. well worth it if you ask me

Recaro SE's my favorite thus far. I have had 01 GT seats, 2 sets of Corbeaus and now the Recaros.

Unless it's a dedicated race car, I think the seats with the built-in harness strap holes look goofy. Traditional style seats like what Grover has look best in street Foxes.

I like the Flofits alot too, I had a set then came up on these Recaros new shipped for 680 so I had to sell the Flofits before I ever installed them.

for 680 those should be nice...hell, for 680 the seats should come with a little asian chick that gives a rub and a tug too.

The seats that I actually found to be more comfortable than what I had are the cloth factory seats in my 94. Suprisingly comfortable.
