Hi Guys,

I'm looking to buy a set of 3.5" exhaust tips for the stang banger.

Please post pics so I can see what is out there, and what looks good!

Also, if you don't mind, where you got them from and how much they cost.

Thanks,
Matt

Here's my old car, which was sporting a Mac Flowpath catback with 3.5" slash cut tips. They were my favorite tips out of all of the ones that I tried. The tips came with the catback, and were polished stainless steel all the way to the axle. I liked them tucked up close to the car, and not sticking out very much. There's some slash cut tips out there that have too much of a slash cut to them, and it doesn't look very good. I think these tips had it just right!

They sell just the tips here, although you could just get the whole catback for around $350. There's tips on eBay for around $50ish, that look pretty decent.

Look at that sexy ass! God, I miss that car.

I REALLY like those MAC tips, but $200? Are they ****in crazy??? I'm up in Canada, so with shipping, taxes etc. we are talking $300. Thats waaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyy too much for exhaust tips, and I already have Flowmaster mufflers so I wouldn't get the cat-back.

Any other pics?

MACs prices are crazy. Plus, in Canada we get ripped off on performance parts. Shipping is expensive, and retailers usually charge more. A $200 US part will go for $300 in Canada, despite our dollar being on par with the US. Also, it is extremely rare for us to get free shipping on anything we buy, so tack that price on there too. THEN, taxes must be added on and they are also quite high.

Sooooo... if you see a Canadian with a modified car; know they spent mega bucks on it!

Here's some on eBay, but they are chrome, and the angles are 45 degrees. The 30 degree tips look better in my opinion. They come in alot of different lengths too, but I find that the longer they are, the deeper they sound. Also, comparing these to the Macs, these are chrome while the Macs are stainless (Which is a real deal breaker for me), the Macs have all of the hardware to mount them in the stock locations with no fabrication, and they are the good angle.
