Vermillion can lok a little bit orange in some light. There was also a Toredor Red (I think that's the name), which I believe the convertable a few posts back is. EDIT: I was refferring to Topdowncruise's car.

Actually the red on my car is called medium cabernet red.

Damn I must have Vermillion red too... non clear coat... I wonder what color the Ford GT red is... Might do that instead.

I am pretty sure it's the same paint code as Vermillion Clearcoat.

Ford calls it Mark IV Red Clearcoat. I can get the actual color code if you want. My father just sold his Red GT last week (he owns a Ford dealership) and we have photocopies of the paperwork with the color code and stuff.

Sold his GT?!? Sad day... Don't stress over it... I can poke around the internet and probably find it fairly easily. Vermillion Clearcoat would be nice... well having a clearcoat alone would be nice too. hehe. Thanks for all the help guys cuz I wanna do this once and do it right.
