Does anyone know how to remove the side emblems onthe front quarters without screwing up the paint under them?

Here at the body shop we use fishing line and run it underneath the emblems. Then all you need is some adhesive remover and it will clean right up. If you use 3M adhesive remover get the one that is NOT in the spray bottle.

Mine didn't have the holes, the way mine came off was using high pressure warm water from the presurized car wash, aim it directly down on the glue, not hte body, and it takes em right off.

I've seen plenty of debadged mustangs running around and none of them have the holes to line them up...I will second the recommendation for the fishing line (or some similar)...then it just takes some really high pressure hot water or an adhesive remover...I've done this on other cars and the adhesive is a bit of a pain in the a$$ so plan on using some elbow grease
