has anybody ever replaced the rivets that hold the side skirt bracket to the rocker? i took mine off last year and they were rusted, so i figure i will drill the old ones out and replace them. i have a few questions about it though. first off, ive never riveted anything before in my life, i know its not hard but i dont wanna screw it up. i have a dinky little rivet gun, but would i be better off getting something good? what size are the rivets i should use? i found this ground effects rivet kit at mustangs unlimited but it doesnt say what size they are. i think my gun only works on certain size rivets. also, the rivet kit has 22 pop rivets, i counted i think 10 or so on the side skirt bracket, could i get away with buying one kit???

If your rivet guns can handle 1/8" rivets your good to go.

The easiest way to make sure what size rivets you need is to take the bracket with you to the store and test fit the rivets into the holes.

The rivets should be 1/8” X 3/4”.
Buy either stainless or aluminum they won’t rust like the steel ones you had did.
