Lately a I've been thinking about getting side exhaust for my car. The only thing a is I still want to run my bassani mufflers. Where can I get the side exhaust side skirt for my car and can I get just piping from the x-pipe to the mufflers and from the mufflers to the tips. And for people who have done this about how much did it cost to paint the shirts.

BTW-- I typed the whole thing using voice recognition

Side exhaust requires different mufflers. The exhaust has to enter and exit on the front.

Not necessarily. You could make your own custom side exhaust that comes out of the back of the muffler, like the '00 R. Steeda sells a side exhaust kit that they claim doesnt rob you of horsepower. Although the picture that they have on their website doesnt look any different than the Borla exhaust that I have.
As for the side skirts, theres always some on eBay.

Don't think about them. You can't get them. Your car can't get any more badass. I won't allow it.

JCwhitney.com

they sell mandrel bends, even in stainless. That's what I'm gonna use. With all my suspension crap and 335/30/18 tires in the back no catback is gonna fit right and I have subframe connectors so a side exhaust kit is unlikely to fit correctly. I may end up just saying forget it and putting dumps on it, but if I do decide that's what I'd do is use some mandrel bends and make something up.

just an idea anyway.

Oink used to have them, but he said his wheelchair kept scraping them. You should PM him and get the skinny on them. Maybe he still has the skirts and even the exhaust. I dont remember him saying what he did with them
