Neighbor acroos the street sideswiped my car saturday, and is denying it, although it's obvious, my paint on his car, his paint on mine, and pieces of his car under mine. Creases and dents in the drivers side door and front fender. My car stayed in great shape in the time I bought it, and sinced I moved here in the last yar it's been keyed, kicked, hit, stomped on (yes the footprints are still in the hood), broken into, and drawn on. I hate this friggin neighborhod, and wish I could afford to move. Oh yeah.....the guy doesn't have any insurance either.

Could it be cause you're a cop?!? BTW that sucks but I'm sure you can do something about it since you are the law! Hope you get this resolved.

Take him to court, win, garnish his wages and put a lean on him. He'll sober up then.

Good luck Hillie

IF you let this a$$hole get away with it then he will probably do it again to someone else... Take him to the cleaners man... do what ever you can to get $$ from him for your damages.. I dont know about your area but here its illegal to drive without insurance and its a 500$ ticket. All else fails.. put on a dark outfit with a skull on the front and handle it your self

Yea man what everybody else said...You gotta know the ins and outs of the law's in your area. There's gotta be some stipulation in there that you can use to your favor...

Your on a strike team.......IDEA:
Time: 0300
Location: HIS HOUSE
Unit: yourself, maybe a friend of two
equipment: Flashbangs, zip cuffs, NVGs, OC spray,..and anything else u can get your hands on...
You will need to be dressed accordingly w/ appropreiate gear, ect ect.....locate isolate and contain suspect. Let him know that he is being watched and survailed 24-7 using camera coverage and SD teams.." If you dont go across the street and be an "honest john" to you neighbor about hitting his car, your done.....maybe a little to0 much, but im sure it would be fun

sorry to hear about ur stang, good luck.

Take your "shield" and make a permanant impression in his forehead while instructing him about what would happen the next time he does something like this. Then proceed to give him a demonstration.

could you just sit outside your house and whenever you see him drive anywhere give him a massive "no insurance" ticket

or just threaten it. that might make him come around

I can take him to court, but he has no job, not a legit one anyway. He's the local drunk, and his girlfriend is a crackhead. Can't squeeze blood from a stone. My insurance is going to pay for the damage and go after him for reimbursement that I doubt I'll ever see. I don't live in the town I work in, can't afford to, so it's out of my jurisdiction. BUT, should he happen to screw up in my town.......let's just say he'll be very unhappy.

I wouldn't care if he is or isn't employed (legit or not legit). He hit your car man. It's not your problem that he can't get his act together and live like a normal human that works a 9-5 job.

Take him to court. MAKE SURE HE PAYS.

JMHO.

Not my problem no....and I will get a judgement against him, but I won't see the money for years, and prolly only a little at a time. Can't get money that the guy doesn't have. He won't pay, he'll go to jail, and he won't make dick there.
