If anyone knows the procedure to remove the sideview mirrors, could you please share it? I need to take mine off to paint them.

I think it's as easy as popping off the cover on the inside door panel, disconnecting the wire to the remote mirror, and then undoing the bolts holding the mirror to the door! I removed the inside cover to mine just the other day but I did not try and remove the mirror itself.

The more and more I look at mine I am tempted to get mine painted. The sideview mirrors are about the only flaw on the exterior of these 2005 models.Post the pictures when you get the work done.

I will post some pics when I get it done. Apparently the body shops use a bonding agent to get the paint to stick. I need a couple of more estimates then get it done. Probably a couple of weeks.

Your car looks great. The estimates I have are around $280 to paint the mirrors. I see you only paid $100 and took them off yourself. Gets me thinking....
