canton, oh
i was having transmission problems, so i sent it back to get repaired. after 1.5 weeks, they finally get it done. they said my converter was trashed (horay edge racing :( ). by the time i send it out to get fixed, returned, and installed, there won't be enough of the season left to make it worth it.
i wanted to get a 9 so damned bad, too. oh well, better luck next year.

That does suck! I was wanting to see you get that 9 second time too.

I have heard nothing but good things about Edge converters. Could a transmission failure have taken out the converter? Did you learn the cause of tranny failure?

yes, it's a pa c4 with brake.
i don't know what damage caused what. a fast car on turbomustangs.com said he went through 5 edge converters in one season.
almost all of the edge customers i've seen were mild street cars. i don't know of any really fast ones (other than the guy i just mentioned).

Never heard of Edge converters. Save up and get a Neal Chance converter, my buddy priced one a couple years ago, it was about $900, but he's had his $600 JPT rebuilt twice (neither was due to JPT, but to his failed home built C4s, he now has the PA SuperComp c4 w/ brake). If he had the bolt together Chance, he'd have been able to take it apart and likely not had the expense.

That sucks dude. What did the converter run $$$ ?
They gonna fix it, for free ?
Again that sucks man.

(Although I am smiling because it does not snow here, and my car is coming along.:D Cold inlet temps, here I come.)

How was EDGE on fixing your convertor?

I've got one and have been super happy w/ Andre's help in building one for my '95 and w/ the convertor itself.

My convertor decision came down to a PI or Edge convertor. Andre' was super friendly so I went with Edge. Customer service is HUGE in my book.
