What would cause signals not to work when everything else is working properly, lights, brakelights, running lights, flashers. I have replaced the flashers, all bulbs and the switch in the steering column seems to be working properly. Help!

Have you checked for power with the signals on and traced the wire back to see where it stops??? Power comming from the t/s switch and into the flasher???

Is it the front signals, back signals, or both? I just got done chasing a wire problem similar to yours but my back brake lights didnt work and everything else did. It ended up being the switch in the steering column.

What year is your mustang?

What your going to have to do is test the wires for power going in to the steering column and test them coming out. Chances are its the steering column switch. The year of your mustang is need to help determine what color wires your chasing down.

Thanks for the replies. Update: I only had 8.5 volts going to the flasher. I am sure there is a weak connection somewhere but rather than trace it out, I put a jumper from a line that gave me 12v. Problem solved everything works great now. The flasher just wouldn't work with the lower 8.5 volts.
