tonight i am driving back from montauk, and when i get onto the LIE, this 05 civic 4dr with the loudest beez nest exhaust i have heard in a while keeps reving at me and trying to get me to get on it. so i blow by him, take it to like 90, no need to O.D. on this moron. so then it starts cruising at like 80, so i stay about 4 cars behind, guns n roses blasting on the rio karma, in 1 lane to the right, no need to ride the passing lane like honda boy did the whole way thru long island. i figure between this clown ahead of me in the hammer lane and my V1, cops arent getting me tonight. when we get to about exit 30, it starts drizzling, then starts raining harder and harder. i slow down, put the car in 4th, not being stupid. the honda keeps flying down the road, and about 5 mins later, johnny nascar is spun out, front is crunched, and the back is crunched, and the passanger side is pushed in, with both windows broken. i slow down, hazards, he is standing by his car, so i know he is ok, no blood on the window, and keep going, driving like 45, because the rain was so bad. laughed at the moron, gave the mustang a kiss, and got home safely, without 1 hydroplane about 35 mins later. i dont understand why these high school kids feel the have something to prove when they see a mustang. like any kid who's parents get them a civic think they can and have to take out any fast car. i guess someone will be having a talk with mommy tomorrow. :D

Honestly, Challenged often.

I think it's sad and funny.

When I owned my <european import>, I got epithets and threats from lots of male folks on the road.

Now that I have a Mustang, I get lots of thumbs-ups and LOTS of rice-r-rocket coffee-can-muffler revving. Funny though, I'm pretty calm in my 'stang. I usually just watch and wave while they get busted or do stupid things.
