Simple Cobra Intake Question

i just bought a 93 cobra intake, its still in the mail. my cousin had one and he bought a 70mm tb for it, and said it didnt need an egr.

ive heard it does need one for a 70mm and it doesnt.. my question is, will a 70mm bolt right onto the intake without an egr or do i need to buy one with a throttle body?

thanks, thats what i figured, but someone didnt want to sell me a 70mm without the egr saying it wouldnt fit. just double checking
