Simple question I think.

I was told to invest some steering rack limiters because I was worried about rubbing when I get 17x9 03 cobra style rims along with the 245x55x17 tires. I'm having my steering rack and pinion assembly replaced but I was curious of how many of these little bushing like things have to be installed? I dunno how exactly they work but I went ahead and purchased a 6 pack anyways so I have them when I go to do it.

Or simply don't turn your wheels lock to lock during turns if they rub. I have 245/45/17s up front and they rub if I turn the wheels to either full position....so I simply don't do it.

Well I would install factory ones again but its a little late now :( Like I said I already ordered a 6 pack of them. I just wanted to be on the safe side when I do make a sharp curve so I figured I'd eliminate all possibilties of having any rub at all. I dunno what the damage outcome would be when it rubs. I know a little scrub here and there is nothing to worry about. But I'm unsure of how bad it does rub with those size tires and rims. Thanks for the quick replies.

Sorry typo on that I didn't catch it they are 245/45/17's I was thinking of running a 235 on the front but I dunno if it would even make that much of a diffrence. I'm buyin my wheels and tires package from american muscle which they don't offer a 235 so its a lil bit of a toss up on what I'm gonna do for tire selection. More than likely I'll just let them do the whole package so its a simple throw on new shoes in the afternoon thing.
