I was looking at MM&Fast Fords website the other day and was in the tech section i they had a link for spiralmax.. http://spiralmax.com/ I ve seen other things like this and it was called the tornado. Anyways, are these things even true in what they say they can do for your engine? I have no desire to buy one Im just wondering what or if anyone knows the 411 on these things. Thanks!

General rule of thumb to help you with life in general - if it seems to good to be true, it probably is. I'd say tornado's and spiralmax fall into this category. I wouldn't spend any time or money pursuing either.
Its a waste it doesent really work like they say. They hire guys who know less about cars then my mom to do their infomercials. Its pathetic i wouldnt waste the time or money on it!!!

its supposed to make the air coming into your engine swirl to atomize the fuel better or some crap like that...but it doesnt make sense because the air will just be straightened out when it hits the throttle body and intake runners. i guess it kind of makes sens on a carbed car though...if it sits right above the venturi. i guess it would kind of help in that situation...but i dont know for sure
