Simple Suspension Question

If I get Ford C-Springs (1.00 - 1.25" drop) and KYB Shocks and Struts, will it be necessary for me to get C/C Plates installed? A Yes or No answer will do.

Usually you have to drop more than 1.5" to need c/c plates. You should be ok.

For my c springs, yes. I noticed today that my front wheels are popping out sideways.

Hard to see, but in relation to the rear, you can see it popping out.

have you checked to see if there is correction left in the factory plates? is everthing tight? wheelbearings, ball joints, etc? does not seem like you should need them.


I would not think you would need them if that is all the drop you get. now if you get more than avertised drop you could possibly need them.

Many say no.
I would get them regardless. Strengthening the towers is never a bad idea.
