I'll be pulling that off one of these days, does anyone know a plastic plug or what not to plug the hole. I'll get if filled and repainted later on!
Thanks
Bruce

What year is your car? I just dont know what year Stang has the Sirius antenna in the middle of the trunk.

I found this UPR ANTENNA DELETE BLACK BILLET 1979-2009, I have no idea if this is what you need or want

I just did a quick google search for sirius antenna delete for mustang gt.

Best of luck

Edit I just did a little more research, and I believe its the 2010+ that have it on the trunk, so the link I gave you is worthless to you, sorry for that.

Another Edit: What color is your car? If your car is any other color than Black, why not just have the antenna painted the color of the car? Wouldn't stick out as much and would be a whole lot cheaper than having the hole filled and the entire trunk lid painted and clear coated.

I wanted to do a spoiler delete, I called two body shops and was quoted between 400-450 to fill the 4 tiny holes and have the trunk painted and cleared.

I had a 2007 that had the antenna in the middle of the trunk. The antenna can be hidden. I do not know why Ford wanted to make the antenna visible.
I have seen the painted colors. I have mixed thoughts. Anyone have one? If so, what is your opinion on the look?

I bought an 07 GT back in October and it has the antenna in the middle of the trunk and I want it gone. I'm not ever going to pay for satellite radio, its a big waste in my opinion.

For those of you taking the antenna off and not planning to have Sirius - are any of you pulling the receiver out of the trunk (it is behind the carpeted panel on the passenger side)? I'd like to get an OEM receiver to install Sirius in my car - there is the receiver and a cable running from the trunk up to the back of the Shaker head unit.

i had the same problem when i removed my spoiler; thought about it for a while and finally decided to use plastic push fasteners with a washer on the underside to hold it. don't have a picture of one, but it has a very thin, flat, round head and a lot of little fins on the shaft. if you get one the right size (they have them at most hardware stores) and get a washer the right size, you can just put the washer on the underside and push the fastener down into from the top and it will hold it. i painted mine with some touch up paint to match the car before i put it in and put a little silicone under it to seal it. it's not as good as having the hole filled and the trunk repainted, but short of that, it's not bad.

Oh, man, I wouldn't give up Sirius if you paid me! I like to take frequent road trips, and it's invaluable! No dead zones, wx conditions for all over the country, talk radio, sports, commercial-free music of all knds, etc.

I have an '06 GT, so no trunk antennae. I just trimmed the wire, and ran it under-then over my dash cover and velcroed it.

Love it!

Hmmm... not sure if I'd want a little "shark fin" in the middle of my trunk...

Would that act like a "vortex generator" and change the effect of the rear spoiler?

I probably wouldn't put it on my car either, was just trying to give the OP some ideas.

As for the "vortex generator effect" it could change the dynamics 100% and cause you to spin out while making a turn at any speed over 35mph

Did you really end up doing that? It may look alot better on the car then it did just sitting there pictured by itself on the website. I mean it wasn't ugly by any means, I was only thinking about how a little fin may look on the trunk lid

If you are pulling wheelies in all six gears, I'll be ordering one today!!!!!!!
