Slow blinker, 552, need faster one, which one to buy?

Part of the problem was the terminal on the battery, I fixed that, but my blinker is sloooooow. Which number blinker relay do I buy that is a little faster. Not ghetto speed though.

Mine currently reads 552 Motocraft.

Is there even a faster one?

All stang blinkers are slow... but if it's as easy as buying a new relay, i would probably get a new one myself!

Where is the blinker relay?

I was told its from the blinker it self, not the relay. I replaced my old thermal blinker w/a new electric blinker and its ALOT faster. Not too fast, but just right. Advance Auto Parts, NAPA, or somewhere like that should sell both thermal and electric. Electric last longer and better quality. Just my 0.02

I have always thought it was the blinker bulb itself as well.

I changed my blinker relay (the thing that makes the clicking noise) with a few I found around the house, I found one that I thought was good, they blink faster when more power is going through it, like when I have my parking lights on which I use when I drive my car ALL the time

I bought a new one, but might have to buy an electric one.

They are $1.99 so I bought a new 552. It is the same speed as the old one.

So I am going to buy an electric one soon. I did not see any two prong electric 552 style, so I guess I will have to look elsewhere than Auto Zone.

Thanks for the help.
