Finally got around to calling saleen about my parts again. They were finally shipped last friday and should be here tomarrow or monday so i will finally be getting my car back .
ohhhh yezz wait until you get all your parts and find your missing a grill... or a bolt... or they dont send you a sticker for whatever reason or freight loses it...
take it from me... the battle is far from over... their parts fit like crap and are a pain to get a shop to paint and install since they come unfinished and require a ton of prep work and they require you to drill all the mounting holes and use your own hardware. saleen provides you with nothing but headaches... i had to get my borla cat back re-bent so it would fit in the rear bumper and my tips extended so the exhaust tips wouldnt melt the paint. the front and rear fascia's dont line up exactly and the hood is a pain to close. plus my side scoops came without screens and mounting hardware. in addition to that... good luck getting the side skirts to stick and not sag 'cuz saleen uses a ton of double sided tape on their skirts, scoops, and wings. plus their chrome wheels are prone to chrome wheel peel...
this isnt just the aftermarket stuff either... many saleen owners who drive their cars regularly complain about the same body kit fitment and quality problems.
I know everyone complains about saleens quality issues but my local ford body shop has yet to tell me that any of the saleen parts they have gotten for my car are of bad quality.
