sick,insane,nice,damnnnn,wow..pick a word from that list and that'll describe the sound on this thing, It is sooooo sweet...i installed it friday afternoon and it took a little under 2hours..1st through 4th gear is just plain amazing..i let my friend drive the car while i was on the side of the road listening and when he took off..its like BOOM..like a pissed off nascar..it is nice and loud in every gear, though it doesnt seem as loud when your inside the car..I recommend this exhaust to anyone!!! got mine on ebay for $300+40 shipping..$340 shipped..the tips look amazing and gives the rear of the car a "hard look"...i have a digicam..but what can i use to give you guys a soundclip??might have to borrow my my friends videocam but we'll see..installed a cdc lightbar today and now the car looks amazing..im so happy i got rid of my ls1(98 z)..this car is just so much more quality and better looking..im looking way past the extra hp i used to have.

Does SLP loudmouth still make it sound like a Mustang, just louder? I ask cuz I've heard a few cars w/ Magnaflows & they sound loud but the classic Mustang sound's gone.

im not sure..i know that "classic mustang" sound your talking about because i always ranted and raved about it when i had my ls1...i dont think it has the same sound as the bassani/flowmaster sound but it still sounds great..it sounds like a car with true duals with a pissed off nascar attitude..its very nice..Im sure with the X-pipe SLP offers it sounds like a "classic mustang sound"...my friend has a 99 GT with bassani's and we sound quite different..but its somewhat close..his sound is more definition and more tone..mine screams louder,deeper, and i guess "raspy" is what you call it..to each his own.

imo i think slp sounds better than the classic mustang sound. i can't stand hearing mustangs all the time with the same sounding exhaust. i used to have flows on my car but i got annoyed of the humming plain sound. i kinda like the over the top loud sound. it's surprisingly quiet when cruising,if that matters.

I most def dig the fact that SLP's a little different. Like you I don't want my Stang to sound exactly like everyone else's. That's why I have FlowPro Mufflers instead of Flowmasters. However, I still want people to know it's a Mustang when they hear it. You know how you can tell even if a car w/ good exhast is a Mustang even if it's a quarter-mile away & you ain't seen it yet? That's what i'm talking about.
