Hey I just got the SLP OR xpipe and I have a quick question before the install. The race pipe sections are coupled together. Anyone know how to get these appart without damage to the pipes themselves. I don't understand why they were shipped this way. I just did not want to be wanting to install them adn spend years getting them appart. I tried the pull and twist method without success.

Loud is what I want. Did you have the same problem with the race pipes being coupled together?

ohhh.. I see what you're saying now, one race pipe is completely inside the other? That's screwed up! Who did you order it from?

I called SLP and the guy stated that it was not right. I ended up taking advice of using a lubricant and twist and pull but that didn't work. I hit it a few times with a rubber mallet to losen it and it worked. Whoever coupled those pipes was pretty stupid.
