I'm afraid that my SLP cat-back just isn't quite loud enough and I wanted to add the full length X-pipe (with cats) and I wanted to know if it will make my system much louder? At idle and at WOT. And how much louder?

My main concern is about the X-pipe only having 2 converters - while the OEM H-pipe has 4 converters? Are 2 converters enough - any trouble setting off the "Check Engine" light?

Thanks...

Sounds great...and you haven't triggered any O2 sensor codes?

Also, if I read right, I don't think I'll need the harness extenders since my GT is a 2002.

harness extender? you mean the oxygen (O2) sensor? you only need those if you are installing full length headers.

I agree that X-pipe will make it louder.. but add cams to that and I'll be there to hear it at your house myself

can you describe what kind of louder the SLP x will make the car. i just got my exhaust-and of course- i still want it louder. but i want more of a deep rumbly loud (like an H) instead of like a nascar type sound. of course it would be easier just to go with an H, but then i miss out on some much needed HP.
