Small case 3g wiring question.

I want to know if I did my install correctly. I purchased a small case 3g wiring kit (complete with 4ga wiring and fuse block, connectors and plug) about a year ago and lost the instructions. I searched, but a lot of sites I seen weren't to clear so I figured I'd post. Below you can see a quick diagram of what I did.

Is the single White/Black wire which originally went to the D shape plug ran correctly? I figured I was supposed to cut the wire then run the harness side directly to the new plug and tape off the end coming from the D shape plug with electrical tape - making it a dead wire on the D shape plug side. I however seen a few pictures where ppl left it going into the D shape plug and ran the cut end to the plug.

Where the thick power wire goes on the back of the alt is that the only wire that goes there? I seen some people run the yellow wire from the D shape plug to there. If this is the correct way then I failed and need to fix it. If I did it incorrect do I cut it and run it from the harness side to the same power plug has the 4ga wire similar to how I did it with the black/white wire or do I run it from the D shap plug end?

Thanks a lot
Judd

The regulator plug is the same on 2 and 3G alternators. There are 3 wires going to the regulator plug. Your diagram only has two wires coming from the connector plugged into the alt.

Simply stated, the stator needs to loop from the regulator terminal labeled S over to the single port on the alt case.
