i here of people with crank pulley the size of a coke can..? how mmuch does this actually help?can anyone run one ? anyone whoo has one does it cause any other problems ? ware can you get them and about how much ? thanks
You're saying you had a 3" crank pulley on a street car? Most underdrive pulley kits have at least a 5.5-6" crank pulley, and many people have problems with those.
"Race" crank pullies are usually around 3" which would really underdrive your waterpump and whatever else is needed. It would be OK for the track if you had a good amount of time between runs and a good battery but it would probally be like no belt at idol, but I can't say from personal experience.
Yes, Jason is one of the race crank users. I remember him telling me about make a fist with my hand, and thats the size of the crank pulley. I have no experience with them per say either, but I guess you could try it and see how it acts.
BTW, Jason is the blue coupe for sale or are my eyes playing tricks on me.
