i here of people with crank pulley the size of a coke can..? how mmuch does this actually help?can anyone run one ? anyone whoo has one does it cause any other problems ? ware can you get them and about how much ? thanks

I've always ran a race crank on my n/a motors with no charging/overheating problems...even with a stock alternator. Yes, these were street cars.

*edit...not saying you won't/can't see any problems, just i never did.

"Race" crank pullies are usually around 3" which would really underdrive your waterpump and whatever else is needed. It would be OK for the track if you had a good amount of time between runs and a good battery but it would probally be like no belt at idol, but I can't say from personal experience.

Yes, Jason is one of the race crank users. I remember him telling me about make a fist with my hand, and thats the size of the crank pulley. I have no experience with them per say either, but I guess you could try it and see how it acts.

BTW, Jason is the blue coupe for sale or are my eyes playing tricks on me.:jaw:
