How much did you take off? Cause we could drop it down quite a bit still, I think the new injectors will be arounf 1/4" higher only.

^Oh yeah, by the way Ray, we should try get that Mach hood scoop to work. Kidding, Ill take the sawsall to get more air before that scoop goes on there.

I did mention the taller injectors before, so we made sure there would be clearance, which we had plenty of, to the point where we would be shaving the hood a little. The job can be done with the insulation still in place, so injector clearance shouldnt be a problem.

This whole prject has been a huge, "oh yeah, by the way..." type of deal.

Oh yeah, by the way, did I mention his will be done for less than half the cost of the Explorer Express (www.explorerexpress.com) kit and have more power?

Spencer, I went in the shop to try out the tig welder, put the band saw cutting away on the intake, gave up with welder, drilled out port's on new base plate, looked at watch, freaked out.

Did'nt plan on working tonight. It's just that we might go on vacation all next week so I figure if we can get fab work done this week, then next week if were gone, might be good time to have parts powder coated.

About junk and yapping!!! Just trying to get yours done before my new motor get's here, because if it's sitting on shop floor looking at me, well, just might be hard not to go over and start hugging it.

I love you, do you love me?? yes___ no___

As long as Small Ford doesnt have the folks from New Orleans showing up at your garage, we should be fine-

As for your engine, expect a few more weeks, as we've come to learn, "almost ready" and "2 more weeks" will turn out to be a month or two before it actually shows. If I can be of any assistnance to you in the shop, cleaning, motor install, etc, give me a call and Ill be more than willing to help you out, as long as I dont have a date that night. Hopefully it will show.

Do I love you... pshhhh, do you even have to ask? Im sure somewhere down the lines we're related (might be very, very far), so the obligation is already there, I have to love you.

No luck with the TIG? Youll figure it out, you always do. We should try get some nuts to weld onto the manifold and plenum for the water/alcohol injection before PC, right?

That must be an expensive kit! I know ray has a lot of hours in that bad boy. Even with the good buddy deal that's got to be expensive.

Interesting lil project you got going there guy's! I know someone that would be drooooooooling over this . What did the tig set you back for and what brand ? We need to get one all we have is a mig, but then again i guess if we really need one for small parts i could always take it to work and do it there! One of the benifits of being a fabracator and a cool boss! I built our sump for our car but it looked like **** so i'll redo it or we'll buy one? peace

Sam and I put the truck back together the other day, but, he didnt set the rails on the injectors properly, so one was leaking, fixed it, and later that day the other side started to leak. I parked the truck in the garage and found my way upstairs, big mistake, mom came home very upset, turns out I stunk up about the whole house, I guess I had gotten used to the smell when I was driving. Its still in that condition, I havnt been out much at all lately.

But yeah, what you had together looked killer. The gauger wire we spliced into the light switch had come undone, luckily I caught that before I put the dash back together.

Foster's... those jerk offs, I told them I wanted a mass air flow sensor off a 2002 Mustang GT, they gave me one off a 99 Lincoln Continental, now I have pull teeth and kick some ass down there. Its a 4 pin, I need a 6 pin MAF.

We're almost done with the SC, shouldnt be much longer. If you need help with your engine.tranny install, yell at me and Ill be over there.

Still planning on coming home Monday? Us SFP guys are needing you badly, too many less than 8 cylinders are showing up at your door.

Were in Arizona now and were gunna stop for a couple days to visit my sister I plan to be home Moday but probably late. Too bad we dont have a smaller bottle for water/alcohol tank it makes your air filter a tight fit.

Did you order the new injectors?
