small scratches on my wheels

i've got 03 cobra's with a normal finish, noticed this today....



what shoudl i use to get them out? meguiars #9? i have some wheel wax coming soon, but i want to get rid of these scratches. any ideas?

You could wet sand them and re-clear it. Those scratches don't look too deep.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think those have a clearcoat. Try using a really mild polish and treat it just as you would normal paint.

i ended up using some 3M compound and a tiny little air powered wheel, with a cotton pad to get most of em out, then used a foam pad with megs #9 and topped it off with american racing wheel wax looks awesome now

Yes, clear coated wheels can be treated in the same way your body paint can be. I removed some scratches from my Borbet wheels that way. They are still looking good nearly 2 years since that.
