Smaller turning radius with new rack?

I just finished installing my new (rebuilt) power steering rack, and took it for a quick drive. I could swear that my turning radius has improved noticeably. Am I crazy, or could I have gotten one from a different year with a tighter radius? It's the "performance" rack, cardone part 22207.
