this is regarding my fox, but it pertains specifically to this forum.

i have 94-04 axles on my notch. with 11.65" cobra brakes. i am looking for the specific wheel i can get to clear these brakes FOR CERTAIN.

example; would a 16x8" pony wheel off a 95 mustang clear? is there a page somewhere that states this? i want to get some et streets with the cheapest wheels possible.

16" wheels will clear for sure. My buddy runs 16" 99-04 V6 wheels on his 03 Cobra for track wheels & they clear just fine. I run 15X8" summit pro star reps (not too sure on the offset?) on my Mach 1, & all I needed was 1/4" spacers to clear the brakes. Actually, I'm pretty sure an 1/8" spacer might be enough, but all I had was the 1/4" on hand.

Yeah, some 15's will clear. I know Pro Stars wont and I dont think Greg Welds will. I had a set of summit stars like Epik and had to grind a tiny bit and run a small spcaer. I am going to be getting some more of the Summit Wheels and finally get my 11 second time slip Im after!!!!

If you are going for a track only tire, I would recommend a slick. You can probably get them for about $180 a piece instead of the $190 I paid for MT DR's.
