Bought this car as a possible fixer upper or parts car... not really sure what i'm gonna do with it right now. I bought it from a kid that was hit by a suburban on the front passenger side, smashed the fender up and caved the door in quite well. The Suspension actually was fine except for a banana shaped Strut . Well I finally got to pulling off the fender and remains of the bumper and it's not bad but it's not good either.

Most of the brunt was taken by the strut and the fender but the metal bumper took a bit on the end. It bent the radiator support on that side and on the drivers side bent the impact attenuator. The top of the radiator support is actually fine no bends or anything but down low on the passenger side is bent up a bit.

The frame has a very slight bend in it, it's very subtle I couldn't tell at first and you can't really see it in the pics other than you can see the sway bar mount is now inward of where it should be.

So what you guys think? I already have a bunch of parts for it, new passenger side door with glass etc ready to bolt on, new fender, bumper with header panel. And i'll be cutting the front end off a 95 sunday. Not sure how hard it is to replace the radiator support though....

Anyone know of any good frame shops in San Diego?

That thing doesn't look bad from what I can see. Once you get the frame straitened it I might would look into straitening the core support too because from what I can see the core support itself doesn't look bent all that bad. If you don't mind me asking what kind of deal did you get on it?

Thats a easy fix how much did you pay and what are the specs on it?? you can straighten that rail and the core support is like 200.00 so just get a new one.

Really hard to tell from just pics alone...but Id bring to a body shop. It looks like the front of the frame is fubar...probably just cut it and weld new up...but bent strut can mean another parts of the suspension could be messed...did ya look around the strut tower for damage? Clean the dirt of look if the paints cracked...look around factory seam seal areas..if it looks funny more damage is around. It doesnt really look bad from pics but bring it to a shop and have them look it over real good. We get cars all the time that look ok but pull parts off and look deeper and sometimes there a total(on older cars since there almost worth nada$)

I got a good deal . The motor runs great and trans is tight, but clutch is used up... rest of the body is straight. Interior is dirty... I gotta find a local frame shop and see what they'd charge per hour...
