smog/air pump pulley removal

Do i have 2 remove the smog/air pump to take off the pulley or can i just remove the pulley without removing anything else? Whats the easiest way 2 remove the pulley, the old 1 cracked, don't know why Ford made them plastic.

I loosen the bolts on the face of the pulley with the serpentine belt attached. Then once the bolts are loose, remove the belt so you can spin the pulley around to where you can wrench easy. Remove the bolts and the pulley. Reinstall the pulley. Nothing else needs to be done.

I also love the plastic pulley.

That about sums it up. You could probably get any number of members here to donate you a whole air pump also. I would but mine went in the trash years ago.
