Thinking of getting this kit from 50resto...

This will bypass the smog pump delete AC and then I would remove both and plug the hose from the heads for the smog stuff and completely remove the AC.

Will doing this pull any codes? And will the check engine light go on?

I've taken apart the front of my engine right now for a new water pump, thermostat, radiator, fan and clutch.....and want to do this at the same time that everything else it taken apart.

Let me know........I want to later install a supercharger so I want to clean up all the clutter in the engine bay.

Weird thing is my car doesn't even throw a code for it  My friends car does though. I am not sure why mine doesn't, but it never has. I wonder if it might be because I left the solenoids on the strut tower and just put caps over the vaccum lines on them. Where as he removed his solenoids all together  Anyone smarter than me on the EEC-IV system have any idea why I don't throw codes for it? I have gotten codes for other problems in the past so I know my diagnostic system is ok.

i installed that offroad kit and i never saw a check engine light. i have no clue if it kicks codes

What I did was rip that worthless smog pump out completely and clipped it from the exhaust and removed all the lines so there was nothing to plug. I purchase the Ford Motorsport A/C delete kit and I never threw a code either. Of course now, I went to carb. Now I don't have to worry about computer problems. So much simpler!
