Alright, since I did my longtubes, my midpipe does not have the air hose thingy that comes off of the smog pump. I am stuck with what to do. I want the smog stuff gone, and the A/C. I do not have time to do the A/C delete yet, but want it gone eventually, like this summer still. But, I want this air pipe gone so it does not clank on everything underneath my car. So without taking the smog pump off, can I remove everything but the pump, plug the heads and just spin the pump with no ill effects, like say a vacuum leak? The only reason I ask is, I don’t want to have to buy two belts. I see no need for the smog elim. Pump bracket. I am going to remove it and get the A/c delete kit and get the proper belt. So this weekend, is it ok to remove everything smog related except the pump to get me by until I yank out the ac?

i would take and buy the ford racing p/s pump relocation kit, puts the p/s pump where the a/c is, remove the air pump and get a shorter belt. no need for all the delete pulleys. personally they look like crap. then take the crossover pipe on the back of the heads off cut the pipe off and take the ends flip them around and bolt them over the holes.

Did you read my post? That is what I am doing. Except it is called an A/C delete kit. Yes the PS pump moves to where the A/C once was. I just do not have time to remove the A/C. All I have time for is taking the smog stuff out so I can hook up my h-pipe and mufflers. I just want to know if it’ll be ok to remove everything smog related except the pump so I can keep the stock belt until I get around to removing the A/C.
