I have some E7TE heads that I need to plug the smog holes in the back of the head. Does anyone know what I can plug them with? I've heard of the thermactor plugs but I'm looking for maybe a bolt or something I can buy at the hardware store.
Thanks

just find out what size it is and put a bolt in it....use the search button and you can find out what size it needs to be. Done.

All I did was take the crossover tube off. I then cut the tubes off the flangesand grinded the flanges down flat where the tubes were. Painted them aluminum. Flipped them and put the flat side to the head. You have to put the left one on the right after you flip it, and vice versa. No leaks, no problems, and it looks pretty good.

I did this on one car, worked great. On another car I threaded a bolt into it. It worked egually as great.
