smog pump hose removal

i have a 95 gt i have removed the smog pump and added the delete kit i want to remove the hose that runs back along the block and the turns in to the hard line it looks like bolts on does it? if i remove it will i need a plate or something to cover it.

You've got a couple options.

Option 1: Leave the hardline and get a vacuum cap from the auto parts store and cap it off. (This worked for a long time for me until I got around to pulling off the hard lines -- next option)

Option 2: Remove the pipe in the back of the head (one bolt per head) and then cut the pipes, and flip them over to seal up the holes.

I can take pictures for you of exactly how I did it on my E7's now that they are off the car, holler if you want a set.

I think ford sells thermactor plugs for that or just cut them and flip them over and use rtv sealent. worked for so far.
