smog question

hey fellas, i got a odd itch today to rip the smog off and put my O/R X pipe on thats got the smog whole welded up to get rid of it all.. my car had it all hooked up still and ran like crap for a long time. Will you actually feel any difference or any diff sound? just wondering so i dont think i f'd up my exhaust lol

You shouldn't notice anything. I just put all my emissions equipment back on, I noticed no difference in sotp feel compared to no cats, air pump, etc. When I get track times I'll post them.

If they're lower the only reason is because of restriction from the cats and the air pumps drag. (i.e. that's why people take it off) The actual EGR (I've had many debates about this one), and thermactor system won't hurt performance.
