Whats this mean? I can't really tell if its on accel or deaccel. Maybe i am worried about nothing but when i did my cam swap none of my plugs were coated in oil, they were all a nice brown. My coolant is not brown nor does it have oil deposits in it. Is it just because its a modded motor or what? Ive never really noticed any other mustangs that smoke as much so im semi-kind of worried.

EDIT: Mods are:

Steeda 19
Full exhaust
no smog pump
no egr

really only mods that should matter...

i wouldnt be to worried if it was a gray smoke but blue or alot of white could indicate a problem... if its gray its probably just carbon build up in the combustion chamber.

what color smoke and does it have a smell have a friend drive behind you and tell you when it happens and the smell. any smoke isn't really a good thing but some colors is worse than others. did you get a tune after the cam swap?

sure did, and my GF when she rides behind me calls it 'white smoke' but i know how far that goes because my GF doesnt know much about cars. As far as the smell i made her describe the smell and its just the normal exhaust smell like you would get from an O/R midpipe. I honestly just noticed it when i got my car tuned and just thought i would look into it. If it does need a ring job ill just go ahead with a 331 but i guess a compression test will tell me that. The car only has 110k on it.

If its when you decelerate, and it also happens when you start the car (blueish smoke) , it could be bad valve seals.

Nah it happens when i am wide open acceleration. But normal cruising no smoke what so ever.

Dont get me wrong though, the other morning i crunk it up when i was loading my tools and such in the truck and it had kinda puffy white smoke but i think thats because i havent cranked it in about a week, lol.
