smoke headlights

I can't recall that well, but I believe you need the entire headlight assembly to get that smoked look.
I looked at the assembly when my lights were being taken apart so that the amber reflectors could be removed. It was a very painful experience by the way. :(
 
In my opinion, your better off buying a used, but in good condition set of 01+ lights. I got some off an 03 for a good price and they look so much better. Anyone know of anything that will take the oxidation off of my 99 lights, I may try to sell them.

I think my husband used a car polish/scratch remover to take off the ugly yellow stuff. He took all of it off his headlights on his '90 5.0. So it's worth a try if you have some lying around in your garage.
