smoke headlights

my headlight lenses are screwed and was wondering if i could buy just some 01+ smoke headlight lenses by themselves without buying the whole assembly, been looking online but couldnt find them.

not that I know of I'm pretty sure you have to buy the entire fixture, besides the lense isnt smoked its the fixture behind it. Unless you mean the blackout headlight covers that you have to remove at night

I can't recall that well, but I believe you need the entire headlight assembly to get that smoked look.
I looked at the assembly when my lights were being taken apart so that the amber reflectors could be removed. It was a very painful experience by the way.

In my opinion, your better off buying a used, but in good condition set of 01+ lights. I got some off an 03 for a good price and they look so much better. Anyone know of anything that will take the oxidation off of my 99 lights, I may try to sell them.

I think my husband used a car polish/scratch remover to take off the ugly yellow stuff. He took all of it off his headlights on his '90 5.0. So it's worth a try if you have some lying around in your garage.

Alright, Ill try that, thanks. Anyone used the Meguires plastic protector stuff yet? Any opinions?

you can look for new headlights at www.stangparts.com dont know how well their prices are, but its worth a look
