I'm tossing around the idea of getting a smoked headlight kit. My only problem is it seems like each company's kit is different in color. Some look too dark, some look too brown... For those of you who have bought a kit, could you post a picture and where you bought it from?

What's your opinion, should I stay clear or go smoked with my car. The paint is '01Ford True Blue. In some light it looks almost black, in others its quite bright.

I'd keep 'em clear. That's a nice looking car. Where did you get the hood lift kit? I'd like to get one for my car.

i think smoked would look better. its too much contrast with the clears on that dark of a car. the lights stand out too much.
sweet stang though!

The hood lifts are from Redline tuning. I am all about contrast, but that was my thought about the clears as well, they just stand out to much. My thought was the smoked would look a little more aggressive.

ttop88, where did you buy that set?

[I just got me a set of clears i think either would look good on your car , smoked would look good on a darker car and kinda blend in with the car, with clears it would make it look clean up front with abit of sparkle to it . I was going to get the smoked but chose the clears

I like the clears on there, it looks very clean. Smoked would probably look good too, it's hard to say. It's kind of hard to buy good smoked lights like you were saying though. Some look brown, and I've even seen some that look purple.

Tough. They both look way good. I think I'd go smoked though.

Thanks for the photoshop, those certainly wouldn't be the smoked ones I'd buy, but they are good for a visual.
