Hey guys, I've been looking around lately for some info on Smoked Chrome powdercoating or other types of coatings in that color for wheels. I think my car would look good if I had my stock cobra's done in a smoked chrome finish. Does anybody have pictures?? I searched high and low.

Maybe somebody knows a shop that does this type of work???? (hint hint)

What is smoked chrome? Don't think I've ever heard of it...

no there is something called black chrome never seen a god pic of it thoug

get regular chrome and don't clean off the brake dust.

Haha, I could do that, but the fronts would be way darker than the rears. Plus when it rains there are streaks everywhere.

Hotcoat (by Eastwood) makes a Chrome Smoke powdercoat color. I was actually thinking of buying the kit and doing my wheels with it. I just want to see some pictures of other wheels with this color first.

Black Chrome is a good way of putting it. I thought a wheel manufacturer made this color/finish before, but I can't find it. Kenny Brown had a wheel with this color, but the picture is not showing up on their site.

YES!! This is what I'm talking about! Only I was thinking more black in it...

Probably costs a fortune to get it, but it just might be worth it.

These wheels, smoked headlights and tinted windows would be killer.

ah, what could u do lugnut wise for the mach 1's above?

What would look good? U guys think these would stick out past the spokes?.....
