Yeah mine came in a plain cardboard box with some mustangtuning tape on it, and that is the stock cobra hood not the 04. It came on 04 V6's to though.

Thanks for all of the compliments!

Fivepointstang, in regards to my hood, it's a stock 99 Cobra (or later V6) hood. The headlights are stock, though they are in pretty good condition. I'm assuming the only reason the headlights look so clean is that the car has only 29k miles.

The new headlights definetly look better. I just installed those same headlights in my 01 GT a couple weeks ago. I stuck with the stock amber bulb for my signal...for now anyway. Nice looking stang.

Waaiiiiiiiiiiit a minute, I just noticed something in one of the pics

Those are the same exact boxes and from the same company as the ones I just got off eBay for $110 shipped. Although, the ones that you got from MustangTuning have the amber lens deleted, they are $199 shipped last I checked.

Something important for those of you 99-00 members to keep in miind when upgrading your headlights.

Bl4ckedOutCobra.... tell me more about your car. Im assuming its a 99 with an 04 hood? If those are the original headlights I am in awe of how good they looked when you took them off. Mine were hazy as *****.

Yeah, I bought these off of ebay for $105 shipped. The box said eagle eye on them exactly like those in the pics.

They look great, one of the first mods you need to do.

But to be fair, the lenses aren't smoked, they are the same clear plastic, the housing behind is black, and the reflector is clear.

These are smoked.

Make sure you seal them up with silicone or they will get water in them big time. That was my experience with Eagle Eyes.

Anywhere where you see gaps or any other places water/air might get into the headlight housing. When I got mine, the company seemed to have already taken this precaution.

Hey guys I was wondering if any of you had a set of directions you could email me or just post some on here. I just got the exact same headlight set from mustangtuning in the mail and am wanting to install them myself. Should I go ahead and do it myself or take them to the dealership to make sure it is done right?

My pictures show absolutely everything. The dealership will charge you close to the price of the headlights for installing them. I literally installed both in 5 minutes. Follow my pictures and you will be all good.

I bought the the lights like the original poster from the same company and have had no fitment issues. I got mine off eBay for $110 shipped
