Hi guys

I am new to the forums just came across them while looking for timing for my car. I was wondering if anyone other then me was running a old Paxton SN-89 on their 87?

I put it on the car back in 1993 and have been running it without problems for the most part. But I do have a couple questions about my fuel pressure as seen on gauge during lower boost. My FMU is a 14:1 and under lower boost I am not seeing the increase in fuel pressure. I guess I peak at about 6.5lbs of boost but I only really see the increase in fuel pressure at tail end and it seems that as soon as I get the pressure it is time to shift this in turn starts it all again.

I have put in Mass air over the MAP a few years back but I must admit it was much more fun with the MAP on the car. When I hit 3k things got fun. But from the time I put on the Mass I have not felt the rush.

I have the BT @ 8* and the only other thing aside from the Mass air and the 155lph fuel pump the car is stock.

I guess what I would like to know is if anyone has see this and if this is normal for the FMU to really come in to play at only the higher boost or if there is something going on that I can resolve.
