I am wanting to put in a set of SN95 Mach 1 pedals in my 90 Fox with a 93 Cobra brake booster. I know I will have to change the mounts but I am concerned about the brake plunger. Seems from what I have read at some point the rod went from straight to curved but I can't seem to confirm. Any ideas??

I have 01 Gt pedals in my car. But I upgraded to a 95 V6 mastercylinder and booster. It can be done, just use the right parts. I'd swap the booster over also...

Somewhere on modularfords.com in the modular conversions section there is an entire write up on intalling the newer pedals.
It's fairly recent so you won't have to look through too many pages.

I found that article and it tells me what I need to do to make it mount up to the column. But it delt more with hydroboost and I am going to stay with a booster. I am going to try to hit a junkyard tomorrow. I think he has a 6 cylinder 2000 mustang so maybe I can rob the parts from it. Thanks for all of the info!

Are you wanting to do this for the pedal covers only?

If so, you don't need to swap all the pedals. The gas pedal and dead pedal bolt up to the fox parts already. You can just swap the entire clutch arm over to the fox pedal, and you can get the pedal pad onto the stock brake pedal with a little lubrication.

I am wanting to do it for pedal spacing. The SN pedals are further apart. Seems like when I have a foot on the clutch and one on the brake they run into each other. On the SN pedals the clutch and brake pedal is further apart.

You can try just swapping the clutch pedal only over to the fox setup. The spacing may be in the bends of the arms vs the actual pedal assembly. Compare them side by side

Just looked up the Mach 1 pedal set up. Wow, is that nice. I'd consider doing this. Post pics when your done, I'd like to see how it came out and what was involved.
