I like the idea that Sn95 5.0 engines have the a/c compressor out of site. Is it possible to put those brackets on a foxbody?

It's doable for sure, but you may end up replacing some of your accessories. I'm honestly not sure about the interchangability of some components, like the power steering pump. You'll almost certainly need to change your timing cover and water pump.

I thought about that too, it sounds like a cheap way to convert to a true R134 system. My guess is that you'll have to convert all of the front accessories to SN95, with the TC and WP.

I was under the impression that the sn95 and explorer motors used the same water pump and accessories. that may be an easier way to get the things that you need...

I don't care that I'd have to replace a lot things most parts on the sn95 are superior anyway like the alternator, powersteering pump, etc. I just want the a/c compressor out of the way I always hated that the line ran right across the intake right in the way. Hopefully someone knows the answer to what is possible and needed to make the swap

you could always fab new lines. wouldnt be hard for an A/C repair shop to crimp/bend the lines you need

You missed the whole point. I've deleted a/c on cars before and its not worth it. The defrost never works right again.
