OK, I scanned over the sticky on the brake conversions but I didnt see the info I was looking for.
I am working on a '91 5.0 that I am going to do the SN95 Cobra brake swap.
I got everything off of a wrecked '95 Cobra except the rear caliper brackets that bolt to the housing end. I have the '95 axle shafts that I am going to put into the '91 housing.
Do I need the actual Cobra brackets or do I need the Fox conversion brackets????
Question 2: I also got the M/C, booster, and the distribution block. I know about the hole in the firewall but if I use all of those parts the only thing I should have to do is reconnect the front and rear lines, correct??? What I mean is I should not have to use an adjustable proportoning with this setup, correct?, as I am using the entire system(except the ABS) from the Cobra.

If you ever plan on running anything other than a 8 inch wide wheel on the rear I would strongly advise not to go with the SN95 length axles.

I am going to use '03-'04 Mach 1 wheels. Factory ones , not aftermarket ones. I dont think I will ever feel the need to go wider than 17X8.

In that case you need the cobra brackets. Or you can order the m-2300-m kit which has them new along with new rotors and other hardware for 175.

Don't use the cobra distribution block. Your car is not a cobra. You need the adjustable valve. You will also need a 3-2 conversion kit for the 95 cobra mc from maximum motorsports
