sn95 conversion washers?

do the washers go on top of the of the ball joint, or on top of the spindle,,,,,???

The washers go on the shaft of the ball joint between the spindle and the ball joint nut. They're used so you can get the nut tight, otherwise you run out of threads on the longer shaft.

You can also use ball joints for an SN95 which will be the right length and you don't need the washers/spacer.
