I tried to search this with no luck. What is needed to put a sn-95 e-fan in a 91 fox? I want to go the cheapest route being my daily driver. I also want it to be thermostatically controlled. I'm sure i will need to replace the alternater also to make this work. What are my options on that? What else besides a new powermaster? Thanks.

I know a SN95 fan will work, If you want it controlled and a low power draw. I would go with a DCC controller. Works great, it only give the fan enuf power to keep it running at the speed needed to maintain a given temp, as opposed to an on/off type set up that turns the fan on when it reaches a certain temp, then off until it exceeds that temp and so on.

You should also go the 3g alt upgrade. Its easy and you use a SN95 130a alternator with some easy wiring mods and a hi-amp inline fuse from a stereo shop.

BTW...Love the Avatar LOL!!

The cheapest method of controlling the fan and a DD don't mix well together. TBS's ideas sound good to me.

Good luck.
