I've read about all the benefits of the front brake conversion and I'm sold on that.

Now about the rear conversion.......

What exactly are we talking about?
What year (or years) car are we taking parts from?
What parts are taking?
What does it do to the backspace requirements of the Fox cars when the SN95 parts are fit?
Do all the common 17x8 and 17x9 sn95 wheels fit front and back on Fox cars with the full SN95 brake swap?
Do we need to change the brake master cylinder and/or proportioning valve?

Thanks for the help.

Thanks, but no thanks. Everytime I try to go to that site I get wailed with pop up ads and something try's to install itself on my computer. When I stop it, it closes every MS Explorer window I have open and it PISSES me off BIG time!! I'm not doing it.

Any different resource I can go to?

Nope, thats THE site for mustang brakes. If you want info then you'll deal with the crap. It only has ad pop ups when you change pages. And just say no when they spyware wants to install.

If you want the help, you'll go to that site and read.

Hmmmm......well if that's the case I'll do it the old fashoned way and figure it out on my own..... :nonono:

2. What year (or years) car are we taking parts from?

1. using all the brake parts (calipers, rotors, brackets, lines) and possibly the axles on the Fox rear end.
2. 94-98 all the parts fit, but it moves wheels out .75" 99-04 everything but the axles fit, need 94-98 axles to put on Fox 8.8 rear end.
4, 5, Moves wheels out .75". 8" wheels fit fine, 9" are a bit too wide. You need to stick with stock width for 9" wheels by using the www.northracecars.com brackets and stock length 5 lug axles.

6. Yes, you will need to change them both. Rear disc require more fluid and the PV needs to be an adjustable one for the change in fluid requirements.

Matt does have all the info on his page. The pop ups are annoying, but IMO it is much better to find out what you need to do from the experienced experts than to try and figure it all out by yourself. Especially if you are talking about something as important as your brakes.

I learned a LOT from his pages. I printed them out the first time I went there and just read them, thereby avoiding going back repeatedly.

Good luck!

Thanks a ton. And also thanks to the guy that PM'd me with an offer to get me the info.

The biggest hassle is the brake lines. If you can, get a hardline setup off of an SN-95 axle. It makes everything easy. The drop from the body to the axle needs to be longer to mate up to the axle-mounted hardline on the new lines, but thats it. You could use the existing hardlines but you have to shorten them and put adaptors to mate to the softlines that go to the calipers. Replacing the whole hardline assy makes eveything simple.
